Discover the world of Rock Wall Wines with Shauna Rosenblum, Winemaker. 


Shauna Rosenblum is the Winemaker for Rock Wall Wine Company. She learned to make wine from her epic father Kent Rosenblum, who is Rock Wall’s CEO.   Shauna literally grew up in the cellar and spent her childhood in wineries and vineyards where she worked and learned all the facets of the winemaking business. Shauna has a Master’s degree in Sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute. As an undergraduate, at California College of Arts and Crafts she became very interested in chemistry through the ceramics glaze making process.  She realized there were similarities in the ceramics and winemaking processes as far as chemistry and blending. This realization lead to an epiphany that winemaking was art!

Shauna became enamored with learning everything she didn’t already know about winemaking, and immersed herself in learning about wines from around the world. In this pursuit, Shauna also completed the Master’s Executive Winemaking Program at UC Davis.  Her passion for winemaking started with big, juicy Zinfandels and has spread far and wide. She loves making sparkling wine, old favorites like Chardonnay and Cab and more esoteric varieties like Fiano and Teroldego.   She considers her wine to be her artistic medium, so to drink a glass of her wine is to taste her ephemeral art.


Pol Roger Champagne Secrets Revealed with Pierre-Samuel Reyne


Pierre-Samuel Reyne was born in the Rhône Valley and grew up around the family vineyards (from which wine was made for family consumption).

Upon completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and Master’s Degree both at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, he joined the World of Wines with Baron Philippe de Rothschild Inc., in New York in 2000 as Trade Relations Manager.

Then, he worked for Heineken in the Caribbean before arriving in Reims in 2004 to take over the American export markets of a traditional Champagne house called Champagne Montaudon. It’s a family owned house that was sold to LVMH and sold again to the Champagne Alliance Group a couple of years later. Within the same group, Pierre also had a key role recently in the business development of Champagne Devaux and Champagne Jacquart in North America, the Caribbean, Asia and Africa.


In September 2017, Pierre was appointed Sales and Marketing Director for Champagne Pol Roger. Pierre works closely with Laurent d’Harcourt, President of the board, to ensure that the family expectations are achieved, and that Pol Roger Champagnes are well distributed in the best restaurants and hotels of the world.

Since joining Pol Roger, Pierre’s favorite experience with the company has been sharing stories with our long-term partners and international visitors at the Champagne house in Epernay and abroad.
